In the Wake of wisdomkeepers

How were the equinox/new moon/eclipse energies for you? How has the space felt since, as we approach the full moon and another eclipse, of the moon this time? These portal energies are so incredibly potent if we harness them towards meeting our potential. How are you using them to your advantage? You may consider the value of making conscious choices that align with intended creations, along with focusing on thoughts and activities that feel joyful. I know for me, I got caught up in too much professional focus, not enough fun, and undid my energy body a bit. I bit of laughter and frolicking in friendship, and I’m good as new!

siStar Alluvia

One of our dear community members and sweet soul-siStar, Alluvia Love, crossed the rainbow bridge just after noon (Pacific Time) last Friday. You may remember her wisdom on sovereignty and her loving heart. She has been a spiritual miracle in human form for so long, always approaching her transitions with pure allowing. She’s held the vision of New Earth, sending so much love and NOW into our evolution, and I will forever be grateful. My heart is sad for missing her physical presence, but we have an Angel on the other side who, as always, serves us all.

Within an hour of her peaceful passing, Dana and I had the great honor of sharing shamanic transition rites with her, her lovely daughters, and three faithful caregivers who stayed by her side for the several days leading to her transformation. So much love for Alluvia’s daughters, and healing blessings too. My love flows to you always, my dear sister, Alluvia, once again soaring with Spirit, unfettered by physical form. Continue reading →

Lions, Leaders & wisdomkeepers

We are having such rich discoveries in our wisdomkeepers space, supporting one another in expressing our true selves and our highest potential in this world. I know this round brought a very limited enrollment time frame and we all have so much to choose from. Keep in mind that we will have another at the summer solstice. If you’d like to stay informed, you can subscribe here. Last week we heard from butterfly wisdom. This week, we will share our discoveries from Lion.

Lions, Leaders & wisdomkeepers

One of the themes of wisdomkeepers  is “leadership.” Mountain lion roars among our spirit animals, our medicine teachers, and calls us forth.

Lions lead without insisting that others follow. We are all lions, and we understand that we are all leaders. As we grow from cub to proud Lion/ess, we practice power with integrity. We balance our mind, body, spirit. From a place of sovereignty, of no-neediness, we never manipulate or control others. We bear our balanced medicine shield and just Show Up. Our power emerges from within, never at the expense of others. However, we may be blamed by others when things go wrong or for taking charge when others don’t, so it’s not the easy path. Authenticity is huge! We may courageously challenge our personal beliefs to come to deeper truths within. Then we Live them, Speak them. We may find our dreams huge and scary, but calling us forth nonetheless. We may struggle with visibility, transparency, vulnerability, but we have no choice but to Show Up.

And so goes the unfolding in our wisdomkeepers space, as we prepare for our gathering at the equinox… such richness and depth of experience… so many ways we show up as leaders.

What can we learn from Butterfly?

Dancing in the sunbeams as spring approaches

A small orange butterfly is doing an awkward dance of surprise at the mysterious boundary that is the kitchen window.

“How did this weird thing get here?” he seems to say. “And how in heaven do I get past it?”

Butterfly’s dance at the glass calls to mind a shared experience that many of us have spoken of when in community this winter: the energies of early 2015 have often been surprising, and for many of us, not at all gentle.

What exactly is this – a training, community, gathering or an event?

Our Wisdom Keepers journey is all that. In our work, we’ve learned that ceremony is one of the most transformational forces in our healing, personal growth and spiritual journeys. When we created our ebook, Singing the SoulSong of Ceremony, we heard that so many are hungry for the experience of ceremony in their lives, especially within the context of community. We know that meaningful ceremony is the key, and that a thoughtful preparation and creation process for ceremony offers much more value and impact that walking into a packaged event most of the time.

For this reason, we intend to share a journey of creation, celebration, community and ceremony, where all wisdom is honored and embraced as we discover in deeper ways what we believe (and no longer believe), who we Be and who we are becoming. Each of us carries a seed within, ever-evolving, ever-expanding. Our shared Wisdom Keepers Gathering – in all aspects of the journey – offers us a spaciousness to learn, nurture, and grow our expanding seeds of consciousness and our capacities as community leaders.

As such, we will share safe and sacred space through a secret facebook group. We will gather for an in-person event of our co-creation, and then once more return to our secret facebook group for on-going support and collaboration. Why, Yes

“Will you marry me?”

Well, I can tell you that after more than a decade of avoiding the marriage archetype as a personal choice, I never thought I would hear these words again.

Dana shared this as the preamble: “We have shared the deepest levels of intimacy, beyond what I ever imagined possible for my life. I thought, there’s no way we could go deeper. Then I thought of one way to embrace deeper intimacy: Will you marry me?”

“You mean the legal kind?” Between Dana’s question and my answer, we shared deeper discovery around what “marriage” and “deeper intimacy” may mean. I am not sure that we could have arrived at “yes,” if not for the inspiration of those we know who are masterfully, consciously creating sacred marriage – within or without the archetype or legalities of “marriage.”

Pinch Me!

All I can do, in this moment, is express my deepest gratitude for all who shared the weekend with Dana and me here at OdaBe. We had one of the most remarkable, magical sagey-spirity weekends imaginable. I drew this card as a symbol of my “destiny” as I began the weekend.

Expansion, Contraction and the Dance-of-Destiny

A couple of years ago, I shared a blog post on Expansion and Contraction. What I am noticing now is that bursts of expansion are provoking clouds of contraction so quickly and profoundly. I wish it was just me, but I’m witnessing it in client session after client session as well.

We tend to favor the more expressive, opening energies of expansion – when we’re blossoming, enjoying company, sharing wisdom, all while feeling inspired, creative, joyful and giving. That’s all delight, however, as we emerge more deeply into Mercury Retrograde (since last week and into the next few weeks), we may also allow time for contraction – for solitude, inquiry, discovery, and a re-gathering of our ideas and energies. Contraction is an essential component of expansion.

We are inspired by the heavens now to dream big. You may review Socha’s thoughts in the video below. Remember that as you engage in the dreaming process, as you create your vision or destiny boards, as you share your passionate ideas in good company, and as you take a bold step into the life of your dreams, you may anticipate and embrace a whoosh of contraction, perhaps even with high doses of self-doubt or feelings of unworthiness. Rather than making yourself wrong for this, embrace it as a guiding-stone-of-wisdom on your path. Allow yourself to be with what is, and your confidence and inspiration will return in abundance. As needed, reach out for long-term support, in whatever way best feels your spirit ~ coach, spiritual mentor, trusted friend, and more.

Beautiful dreamers… Your visions enchant me so. May we all be empowered to live more deeply into our truest destinies, with our unbounded futures filled with all manner of abundance.
